Welcome to ClassifiedsHub! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ClassifiedsHub website and services ("Service"). By creating an account, posting a listing, or using any part of our Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to comply with these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. User Accounts

  • Registration: You must provide accurate and complete information when registering for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.
  • Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason.

3. Listing Content and Conduct

  • Accuracy: All information provided in your listings (e.g., descriptions, prices, images, location) must be accurate, complete, and truthful.
  • Prohibited Content: You agree not to post, upload, or transmit any content that is:
    • Illegal, fraudulent, or promotes illegal activities.
    • Harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or hateful.
    • Infringes on any intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret) of others.
    • Contains viruses, malware, or other malicious code.
    • Promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
    • Is spam, unsolicited advertising, or unauthorized commercial solicitations.
  • Prohibited Items: You agree not to list or sell items that are illegal, dangerous, stolen, or otherwise prohibited by law.
  • Authenticity: You warrant that you are the legal owner of any items you list for sale or are authorized to sell them.
  • Review: Listings are subject to review and may be approved, rejected, or removed at our sole discretion.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms, including but not limited to:

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or other user accounts.
  • Interfering with the operation of the Service or any user's enjoyment of it.
  • Using automated systems (e.g., bots, scrapers) to access, collect, or transmit information from the Service.
  • Impersonating any person or entity.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; that defects will be corrected; or that the Service or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.

In no event shall ClassifiedsHub, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ethiopia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
